It is hard to believe that the Aston Martin DB9 was revealed to a stunned press back in 2003. It is a testament to fine engineering of this, the first of the VH era V12 cars, that it fundamentally stayed in production until 2019 – through its later evolutions into DBS, Rapide, Virage, DB9 MkII, Vanquish MkII and finally Vanquish Zagato.
The V12 also was fitted with great success to the VH bodied Vantage whose production bowed out with the mighty V600 Dreadnought, a fitting finale for V12 VH era.
Familiar with the compromises required to bring the cars to production Bamford Rose has strived to develop thoroughly engineered evolutions of the cars, in a similar progression path, that the factory itself evolved the VH V12s. Thus, for example, DB9 MkI can have access to all of the evolutionary upgrades and engineering that have occurred over the V12 VH vehicles’ lifecycle to rightly return it to its “King of the Road” status.
Since the first project car in 2012, over 150 V12s have been upgraded with Bamford Rose components. These carefully considered upgrades cover the complete gamut of the V12 VH model history from DB9 Mk I to the final V12 Vantage V600. Each upgrade has a mission to take these beautiful designs and evolve them even further to give you the very best from your Aston Martin.
The Bamford Rose obsession with quality extends to every element of these upgrades. Each upgrade is developed to and beyond OEM standards using the best raw materials, best craftsmen and best tooling. For new era V12s we are pleased to offer:
